Jeremy Taylor 1613-1667

Born in Cambridge, England. He took holy orders and held a number of positions before he became Bishop of Down and Connor in 1660 and Administrator of Dromore in 1661. His works are considered to be some of the finest sacred writings in English. These include The Liberty of Prophesying, 52 Sermons, Ductor Dubitantium, Rule and Exercises of Holy Living and Rule and Exercises of Holy Dying. He is buried in County Down.
