Elizabeth Rivers 1903-1964

Born in England. She was an artist who studied in London and Paris and lived for a few years in Aran. She worked with Evie Hone and exhibited at the Irsih Exhibition  of Living Art. She held a one woman show in 1966. She also wrote Stranger in Aran; Out of Bondage, Israel; Out of Bedlam. The stone is by Michael Biggs. She is buried in Dublin.
