Archibald Hamilton Rowan

United Irishman born in London. He joined the Volunteers in 1790 and was a founder member of the Northern Whig Club. After being found guilty of sedition in 1794 he escaped to France. Later he went to America and was eventually pardoned in 1803. He was buried in St Mary's, Jervis Street, Dublin but this has since been turned into a park.

His daughter is buried in Dublin.
