Thomas Percy 1729-1811

Born in Bridgenorth, England. He was chaplain to George III before becoming Bishop of Dromore in 1782. He published translations of several Chinese books and Runic Poetry from the Icelandic Language. His best known work is Reliques of Ancient English Poetry. He is buried in County Down.
