 John Skipton Mulvany 1813-1870

Thomas was the father of John Skipton and George Francis. He was a founder member of the R.H.A. and was its keeper from 1823-1845. He edited a life of Gandon and wrote articles on various Irish Artists.

John Skipton Mulvany was an architect whose masterpiece was the Broadstone terminus in Dublin. Other work included The Royal Irish Yacht Club and the railway station at Dun Laoghaire. They are buried in Dublin.
