Éamon Kelly 1914-2001

Born in County Kerry. He was a storyteller, a writer and an actor. His works include In My Father’s Time, English That For me, The Apprentice and The Journeyman. The graveside oration was given by his lifelong friend Éamon Ó Murchú – “Éamon’s quintessential voice, imaginative skill, facile expression, sense of timing and powerful restraint have made him one of Ireland’s best known actors of stage, television and film”. He is buried in County Dublin.
