Lord Killanin 1914-1999

Born Michael Morris, in Melbourne. He worked as a journalist, served with the British Army during the second World War, made films, was involved with the Olympic movement for nearly 50 years and wrote a number of books. These include, with Michael V. Duignan, The Shell Guide to Ireland and My Olympic Years.  He is buried in Galway.
