 Myles Keogh 1840-

Born near the village of Leighlinbridge, County Carlow. He was considered the bravest of the cavalry that fought and died during Custerís last stand. His horse, Commanche was the only survivor on the cavalry side. He was originally buried on the field of battle but the following year he was reburied in the Mount Hope section, Ft. Hill Cemetery, Auburn, New York.
