Evie Hone 1894-1955

Born in Dublin. She was a painter who studied in London and turned to working in stained glass when she was in her early thirties. Examples of her work can be found in The National Gallery, The Municipal Gallery, Crawford Gallery, Cork and in many other Irish Counties, but perhaps her masterpiece is the Eton Window. She is buried in Dublin.
