Prospect Cemetery Glasnevin is the biggest cemetery in Ireland. There are over 1,000,000 people buried here Many historic figures are buried in this cemetery. These include Daniel O'Connell, Charles Stewart Parnell, Michael Collins, Roger Casement, Kevin Barry, Brendan Behan, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Eamon de Valera, Chester Beatty, Maud Gonne and many, many more. Tours of the cemetery, organised by Glasnevin Cemetery take place every Wednesday and Friday throughout the year. Tours start at 2.30 Contact for further information 8301133 The National Graves Association organises tours of the patriot dead in this cemetery every Sunday at 11.30 a.m. from May to September. Meet at gate but check in advance.
