Thomas Furlong 1794-1827

Born in Scarawalsh, County Wexford. He translated poetry from the Irish and wrote mostly in English. His works include The Misanthrope with Other Poems, The Doom of Derenzie and The Plagues of Ireland. He is buried in Dublin.
