Colonel James Fitzmaurice 1898-1965

Born in Dublin. He was first to fly the Atlantic from east to west as co-pilot of a German plane, the Bremen. He was made a Freeman of Dublin along with his co-pilots. He is buried in the family plot in Dublin.
