Lynn C. Doyle 1873-1961

Born Leslie Montgomery in Downpatrick, County Down. His working life was spent in banking. He wrote novels, short stories, poems, plays, an autobiography and he earned a reputation as a broadcaster. His writings include the Ballygullion series of books, an autobiography An Ulster Childhood and the plays Love and Land, The Lilac Ribbon and Turncoats. He was buried in an unmarked grave in County Dublin.
