Paul Vincent Carroll 1900-1968

Born in Dundalk, County Louth. He worked as a teacher and wrote poems, stories and plays. His success allowed him to become a full-time playwright and his plays won many prizes. His works include The Watched Pot, Shadow and Substance, The White Steed, The Wise Have Not Spoken, Goodbye to the Summer and Beauty Is Fled. He is buried in Bromley, Kent.
