Oliver Bond 1762-1798 Born in County Derry. He was a woollen merchant who was a leader of the United Irishmen. The Leinster Provincial Committee met secretly at his house. He was eventually betrayed and arrested there and the subsequent Rising was doomed. He is buried in Dublin.
