William Bulfin
1864-1910

Born in
Derrinlough, County Offaly. He went to Argentina as a young man and worked
on the pampas. He then went to Buenos Aires and edited a paper before
returning to Ireland. He wrote a popular book of his journeys in Ireland
called Rambles in Eirinn. He was father-in-law to Seán MacBride. He is buried about 5 kilometres from Birr.

of the cross is for Eamonn Bulfin.
