Stephen Brown 1881-1962
Born in Holywood, County Down. He was a Jesuit priest who produced two important books on Irish literature – A Guide to Books on Ireland and Ireland in Fiction – A Guide to Irish Novels, Tales, Romances and Folklore. He died as a result of a car accident in London and is buried in Dublin.
