Christy Brown 1932-1981

Born in Dublin. He was paralysed from birth and he used the toes of his left foot to write and type. His books include Down All the Days, which was translated into many languages and My Left Foot which was made into a successful film. Other works include several volumes of poetry and three other novels. He is buried in Dublin.
