Dan Breen 1894-1969
Born in County Tipperary. He took part in the first action of the War of Independence. His experiences during the years that followed were written down in My Fight for Irish Freedom, published in 1924. He was anti-Treaty and was elected TD for Tipperary 1923-1927. He is buried in County Tipperary.
