Father Francis Browne 1880-1960 Born in County Cork. He was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1915. He documented the life of Ireland through his photography. A number of books of his photographs were published after his death – Father Browne’s Ireland; Father Browne’s Dublin. He is buried in Dublin.
